Want a handknit accessory, but don’t want to knit it yourself? Want to get your maker friend a gift, but aren’t sure what yarn to choose? Need a sample knit for a new design? Let’s make it happen.

A few times a year, we are able to take on knitting commissions or sample knits. Please note we do not knit sweaters, blankets, or other large items; only hats, socks, or neck accessories (cowls, shawls, wraps, etc.) from existing patterns.

When you purchase this:

• You will be charged a $10 down payment that will be put toward the final price of your hand knit item. (NOTE: If we do not receive a reply within 60 days, your down payment will be refunded minus ~$3 in processing fees.)

• You will receive an email within 5 business days asking you for information about your knit item. Consequently, please ensure the email address you provide at checkout is the one you’d like to be contacted at.

• Then the magic of the design process begins! We look forward to hearing about what you are looking to have made and are here to help you pick a pattern, color, fiber, etc. whether you know everything or nothing about yarn/knitting.

• Once the design and materials are finalized you will receive an itemized quote and timeline for completion of the final handknit product. The custom order will then be listed in the shop for you to purchase (minus this $10 down payment) and provide shipping information.

• All finished handknits come with a care card and optional label or giftwrapping.

Final pricing varies per project, but is always determined by/equal to: the required materials (yarn, etc.) + labor ($0.15/yard) + optional giftwrapping + taxes and shipping at checkout. Want to know more? Please check out our FAQ page.
